Validated scales measuring research self-efficacy, research competency, and attitudes toward research were administered via an online survey. Descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and path analysis were used to examine relationships among variables.

Results: Students demonstrated good research self-efficacy (Mean = 3.43 ± 0.84) and positive attitudes toward research (Mean = 2.81 ± 0.91), while research competency remained moderate (Mean = 3.15 ± 0.70). Moderate correlations were observed between writing/evaluating research papers and attitude components (r = 0.291, p < .001). Path analysis confirmed that self-efficacy significantly mediates the relationship between research attitudes and competency (β = 0.710, p < .001), underscoring its predictive value.

Conclusions: Despite positive attitudes and confidence, students lacked strong practical skills. Targeted educational interventions-such as mentorship, hands-on training, and curriculum integration-are recommended to bridge the gap between perceived ability and actual research competency, ultimately preparing students for evidence-based nursing practice.
2025-08-27T00:00:00+00:00Bản quyền (c) 2025 Tạp chí Khoa học Điều dưỡnghttps://jns.vn/index.php/journal/article/view/1058Occupational stress among nurses at the National Hospital of Endocrinology in 20252025-08-14T03:06:24+00:00Thi Hue Nguyennoemail@gmail.comThi Minh Chinh Nguyennguyenminhchinhsdh@gmail.comHuong Duong Phannoemail@gmail.comThi Thuy Duong Ngonoemail@gmail.comThi Toan Phannoemail@gmail.com
Objective: To describe the current status of occupational stress among nurses and associated factors at the National Hospital of Endocrinology in 2025.

Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted on 399 nurses at the National Hospital of Endocrinology from October 2024 to June 2025. Occupational stress was assessed using the Expanded Nursing Stress Scale (ENSS), which had been translated into Vietnamese and validated for reliability in previous studies.

Results: The mean total ENSS score was 66.74 ± 24.18, ranging from 27 to 138. The three highest stressors were: interaction with patients/relatives (14.85 points), uncertainty concerning treatment (13.52 points), and death and dying situations (8.26 points). Regarding stress levels, 11.3% of nurses experienced very high stress, 47.1% moderate, and 41.6% low, indicating that nearly 60% were at least moderately stressed. Occupational stress was significantly associated with age, working position, number of night shifts, contract type, work experience, and income; it was highest among nurses under 25 years old and those working in Emergency/Intensive Care Units. Gender, education level, marital status, number of children, administrative position, and working hours were not statistically significant factors.

Conclusion: The mean occupational stress score among nurses was 66.74 ± 24.18. Clinical departments should focus on supporting younger nurses, rationalizing work schedules, improving the working environment, and strengthening training programs to reduce occupational stress and enhance mental health among healthcare workers.
2025-08-31T00:00:00+00:00Bản quyền (c) 2025 Tạp chí Khoa học Điều dưỡnghttps://jns.vn/index.php/journal/article/view/1107Prevalence of postpartum depression and associated factors among women at the Obstetrics department, Vinmec Times City International General Hospital in 20252025-09-17T03:53:33+00:00Hoang Thu Phuong Hohothuphuong@hmu.edu.vnVan Thang Buiv.thangbv@vinmec.comThi Hong Nguyenv.hongnt@vinmec.comThi Thu Phamv.thupt@vinmec.comThi Luong Trannoemail@gmail.comThi Thu Huong Hoangv.huonghtt@vinmec.comThi Loan Tranv.loantt1@vinmec.comThi Thu Ha Tranv.hattt@vinmec.comThi Thu Huyen Nguyenv.huyenntt@vinmec.com
Objective: To determine the prevalence and to explore associated factors of postpartum depression in the context of limited data from private hospitals in Vietnam.

Subjects and methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted among 205 postpartum women at Vinmec Times City International Hospital, Hanoi, from May to July 2025. The survey employed the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS), the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS-10), and the Brief Resilience Scale (BRS-6) to assess depression, perceived stress, and resilience. Statistical analyses were performed to identify associated factors.

Results: Findings showed that 48.3% of women had no depressive symptoms, 46.8% had signs of depression, and 4.9% were identified as having postpartum depression. Multivariable logistic regression revealed that a moderate income ranging from 15 to under 25 million VND (OR=24.15; 95%CI: 4.51–129.22), sleep disturbances (OR=14.59; 95%CI: 3.49–60.96), eating disorders (OR=5.43; 95%CI: 1.76–16.79), moderate psychological stress (OR=3.68; 95%CI: 1.35–10.05), and moderate resilience (OR=5.15; 95%CI: 1.03–25.85) were associated with an increased risk of postpartum depressive symptoms, while cesarean delivery was identified as a protective factor (OR=0.26; 95%CI: 0.10–0.70).

Conclusion: These results highlight the need to develop targeted screening, counseling, and intervention programs within private hospital systems to improve mental health care for postpartum women.
2025-09-05T00:00:00+00:00Bản quyền (c) 2025 Tạp chí Khoa học Điều dưỡnghttps://jns.vn/index.php/journal/article/view/1056Factors associated with patient satisfaction with in vitro fertilization services at the Reproductive Support Center, Hospital of Post and Telecommunications, 20242025-08-14T03:07:47+00:00Thi Minh Chinh Nguyennguyenminhchinhsdh@gmail.comThi Huyen Nguyennoemail@gmail.comThi Hong Hanh Trannoemail@gmail.comTruong Son Nguyennoemail@gmail.com
Objective: To identify factors associated with patient satisfaction regarding In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) services at the Reproductive Support Center in Hospital of Post and Telecommunications in 2024.

Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted among 250 female patients diagnosed with infertility who underwent IVF treatment at the Reproductive Support Center, Hospital of Post and Telecommunications, between January and October 2024.
