Abstract
Objective: Evaluation of factors affecting adherence to asthma controller therapy.
Method: A cross-sectional study was conducted between Januaryr 2020 and April 2020 on 194 patients who were undergoing outpatient examination and treatment at the Clinical Departments under the General Hospital of Kien Giang Province.
Results: The percentage of patients adherence to asthma controller therapy was higher among patients with regular health check-ups, check for signs and symptoms of a concussion, stop smoking, avoid food allergies, avoid environmental allergens as well as use drugs on time, right type and right method.
Conclusion: This study show that Factors associated with affecting adherence to asthma controller therapy was the regular health check-ups, check for signs and symptoms of a concussion, stop smoking, avoid food allergies, avoid environmental allergens, drugs on time, right medication and right method.
