Abstract
Objective: To assess the nursing care of patients by using team nursing model at 04 clinical departments of Thai Binh General Hospital in 2019.
Method: Cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted to colect data from 9 leader of team nursing, 32 nurses; 385 patients at 4 clinical departments of Thai Binh General Hospital in 2019.
Results: 27.3% of team nursing’s leader has not yet known the patient's condition; 22.3% have not timely commented, discussed and supplemented care plan for abnormal patients with team members; 22.2% of nurses in the group do not fully understand the patient's disease status; 100% of nurses were satisfied with the team nusing care model; The decisive factor for the effectiveness of nusing care model is patient’s satisfaction: over 90% of patients are satisfied with the professional activities of nursing; Over 95% of patients are very satisfied and satisfied with managing patient room during working hours.
Conclusion: Team leaders and nurses still do not fully understand the status of the patients, but the nurses and the patients are still satisfied with the team nursing model
