Abstract
Objective: Todescribe the quality of life of cancer patients treated at Nam Dinh General Hospital in 2020.
Method: The cross-sectional study was implemented among 102 cancer patients at Nam Dinh General Hospital from November 2019 to June 2020.
Results: The average quality of life score was 37.79 ± 13.93, in which the quality of life score of physical health, mental health, family/social relations and active state were 12.37 ± 3.58; 10.12 ± 4.24; 10.9 ± 3.72 and 4.38 ± 5.15, respectively. The quality of life score of cancer patients is very low, especially the active field.
Conclusion: The quality of life of cancer patients according to the FACT-G was 37.79 ± 13.93 comparing to 108 points of FACT-G. Therefore, in the course of treatment and nursing care, appropriate interventions are required to improve the quality of life of patients
