Mục tiêu: Đánh giá các nhu cầu chăm sóc tại nhà, và xác định một số yếu tố liên quan đến nhu cầu chăm sóc tại nhà của người bệnh ung thư sau xuất viện điều trị lần đầu tại Bệnh viện Ung bướu Đà Nẵng.
Đối tượng và phương pháp nghiên cứu: Nghiên cứu mô tả cắt ngang tiến hành trên 95 người bệnh ung thư trên 18 tuổi, điều trị lần đầu tiên tại Bệnh viện Ung bướu Đà Nẵng và sau đó nhập viện lần 2 từ tháng 5/2021 đến tháng 7/2022. Thang đo Nhu cầu chăm sóc của người bệnh ung thư sau xuất viện (CaSUN) sử dụng để đo lường Nhu cầu chăm sóc của người bệnh. Số liệu được phân tích bằng phần mềm SPSS 20.0.
Kết quả: Điểm trung bình nhu cầu chăm sóc tại nhà của đối tượng tham gia nghiên cứu đạt mức trung bình (GTTB = 3,48; ĐLC = 0,81). Ngoài ra, người bệnh là nam giới (r = 0,81; p = 0,03), mắc ung thư vú (r = 8,73; p = 0,03), và đã điều trị bằng hoá trị (r = 9,04; p = 0,04) có nhu cầu chăm sóc tại nhà cao hơn so với những nhóm đối tượng khác.
Kết luận: Nhu cầu chăm sóc tại nhà của người bệnh ung thư tại bệnh viện Ung bướu Đà Nẵng đang ở mức trung bình. Nghiên cứu sẽ góp phần nâng cao chất lượng dịch vụ y tế và nhận thức của điều dưỡng khi chăm sóc bệnh nhân ung thư tại cộng đồng.
