Mục tiêu: Đánh giá gánh nặng chăm sóc của người chăm sóc chính người bệnh sau mổ tim tại khoa hồi sức tích cực, Trung tâm Tim mạch, bệnh viện Việt Đức và tìm hiểu một số yếu tố liên quan đến gánh nặng chăm sóc.
Đối tượng và phương pháp nghiên cứu: Một nghiên cứu cắt ngang được tiến hành trên 50 người chăm sóc chính của người người bệnh sau mổ tim tại khoa hồi sức tích cực, Trung tâm Tim mạch, bệnh viện Việt Đức sử dụng bộ câu hỏi đánh giá gánh nặng chăm sóc Zarit.
Kết quả: Điểm Zarit trung bình là 40,12 ± 7,80. Hơn nửa (60%) số người chăm sóc có gánh nặng trung bình trở lên, 34% có gánh nặng nghiêm trọng. Các yếu tố làm tăng gánh nặng chăm sóc là: thời gian nằm viện trên 1 tuần (p = 0,031), thời gian dành cho chăm sóc người người bệnh nhiều (p = 0,043), là vợ/ chồng hoặc con (p = 0,043).
Kết luận: Gánh nặng chăm sóc của người chăm sóc chính người người bệnh sau mổ tim ở mức trung bình. Gánh nặng chăm sóc có mối tương quan với thời gian nằm viện của người bệnh, thời gian chăm sóc, quan hệ với người bệnh.
