Abstract
Objective: Describe the current situation of continuous training of internal clinical nursing in the period of 2019 - 2020 and identify the need for continuous training in the period 2021 - 2022.
Method: A combined research on cross-sectional descriptions was conducted on 48 nurses in 05 clinical departments of Internal Medicine - Tuyen Quang General Hospital from September 2020 to November 2020.
Results: Continuous training in the period of 2019 - 2020 on the implementation of patient care and the implementation of general nursing techniques are all interested by nursing of 05 clinical departments in the Internal Department and participated in learning at a high rate, with a high rate of 80% - 100%. In the next 02 years (2021 - 2022), over 80% of nurses have continuous training needs: Counseling, guidance, health education (91.7%). Anaphylaxis (81.3%). Procedures CPR (81.3%). Respiratory arrest (81.3%). Assist the Doctor with pericardiocentesis (90.0%). Assistant Doctor Remove polyps (90.0%). Assistant Gastroenterologist (80,0%). Assistant Colonoscopy Doctor (80,0%). Assist the Doctor to aspirate pleural fluid (80.0%). Regarding how to organize training: 70.8% of subjects want a time of less than 05 days per science; 87.5% want to be trained right at the unit and most Nurses want a training method that combines theory and practice. With a staff of lecturers who are staff of central hospitals (72.9%).
Conclusion: Nurses of the 05 internal clinical faculties found that they are still limited in the group of competencies in counseling, guidance, health education; Anaphylaxis, procedures CPR, respiratory arrest and some technical assistance to doctors. Nurses want on-the-job training, with short-term training, training methods combining theory and practice, and the central line of trainers.
