Abstract
Objective: Find out some factors related to the occupational stress of nursing at Thai Binh Children’s Hospital in 2019.
Method: Design of descriptive cross-sectional study,qualitative research with a sample size of 19 in-depth interviews of nurses: including hospital head nurses, head nurses of the department: Respiratory, Gastroenterology, Renal Urologyand choose one nurse from each clinical department using the in-depth interview guide.
Results: The difficulties in the working environment that nurses face are mainly due to their characteristics. The factors that cause stress for nurses related to the division of labor are mainly due to the long working time in a day and the number of duty days in a week, the overload of patients, the factor of mind - Occupational physiology most people think that the relationship between nurses and patients and their family members is not a good factor causing sensory nerve stress, followed by the relationship between nurses and colleagues. Not good is also a stress factor, personal life (age, child care, family economy) is a factor related to nursing stress.
Conclusion: Factors: Labor environment, organization and division of labor, mind - occupational physiology and personal life (age, child care, family economy) are factors related to the situation stress of nursing.
