Mục tiêu: Khảo sát tỷ lệ nguy cơ ngã và một số yếu tố liên quan ở người bệnh suy tim tại khoa Nội tim mạch, Bệnh viện Trung ương Quân đội 108.
Đối tượng và phương pháp nghiên cứu: Thực hiện nghiên cứu mô tả cắt ngang trên 81 người bệnh suy tim nhập viện điều trị qua đêm trong khoảng thời gian từ tháng 5 năm 2024 đến tháng 8 năm 2024. Sử dụng bộ câu hỏi Johns Hopkins Fall Risk Assessment Tool (JHFRAT) để đánh giá nguy cơ té ngã ở người bệnh suy tim.
Kết quả: Độ tuổi trung bình là 75,6 ± 13,3 tuổi, chủ yếu là nam giới. Tỷ lệ người bệnh có nguy cơ té ngã ở mức độ trung bình chiếm phần lớn (69,1%), nguy cơ cao chiếm 17,3%. Nghiên cứu này cho thấy chỉ có mối liên quan giữa nhóm tuổi và nguy cơ té ngã. Người bệnh suy tim từ 70 tuổi trở lên có nguy cơ té ngã cao hơn 6,4 lần so với người bệnh suy tim dưới 70 tuổi(p < 0,05).
Kết luận: Người bệnh suy tim có tỷ lệ nguy cơ ngã cao với 86,4% có nguy cơ từ trung bình trở lên và tuổi ≥ 70 là yếu tố nguy cơ độc lập quan trọng. Kết quả này nhấn mạnh tầm quan trọng của việc sàng lọc nguy cơ té ngã và can thiệp phòng ngừa ở người bệnh suy tim, đặc biệt nhóm tuổi cao.
