Abstract
Objective: Describe the quality of life of patients before and after cholecystectomy surgery.
Method: Cross sectional description study on 104 patients suffering from Gallbladder stone who has cholecystectomy surgery Nam Dinh General Hospital from January to May 2017.
Results: The average GIQLI score of patients after surgery was improved compared to preoperative in the field. For the general quality of life (70.98 ± 7.38 vs. 63.98 ± 10.00, p <0.001), core symptoms (73.10 ± 6.58 vs. 66.15 ± 10.34, p <0.001), psychological items (71.75 ± 9.90 vs 54.80 ± 15.80, p < 0,001) Physical items (68.83 ± 14.50 vs 56.93 ± 17.22, p <0.001), social items (69.71 ± 9.96 vs 61.84 ± 11.90, p <0.001) and other characteristics (86.12 ± 7.23 vs 80.86 ± 8.99, p <0.001).
Conclusion: The quality of the life of patients cholecystectomy surgery being improved before surgery.
