Abstract
Objective: To describe the knowledge of osteoporosis among patients receiving treatment at Ninh Binh Provincial General Hospital in 2024.
Study design and methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted with 251 osteoporosis patients at Ninh Binh Provincial General Hospital from April to June 2024.
Results: The average knowledge score on osteoporosis among patients was 21.45 ± 10.36 out of a total of 47 points, with the lowest score being 0 and the highest being 43. The percentage of patients with insufficient knowledge was 47%.
Conclusion: The level of knowledge about osteoporosis among patients in this study is average. The results indicate a need for enhanced education on osteoporosis knowledge for patients
