Abstract
Objective: To assess some of factors associated to treatment adherence in patients after percutaneous coronary interventions.
Method: A cross- sectional study was conducted from January to August 2018, a self-completed questionnaire to assess 260 out-patients after percutaneous coronary interventions who were managed by Hai Duong General Hospital.
Results: The percentages of patients with and without treatment adherence were76.2% and 23.8% respectively. Within the study sample, it was revealed some factors that associated to the treatment adherence including.
Conclusions: The study showed a remarkable percentage of patients of non-compliance with treatment (23.8%) after percutaneous coronary interventions, and related to some factors, included limited patients’ knowledge of coronary disease, which could be improved throught patient education.
